10 Yeah I am a shun girl too. But if you are a die hard Guy fan these would be a must. I like Guy, but this doesn't mesh with my kitchen.

I'm with you guys...i'm stuck on shun. They are my favorite knives out there. by the way, have any of you had to send your shuns to be sharpened?

I haven't, but I did buy Shun's electric sharper, which sharpens them at the correct angle. So far I haven't had a need to use it, for my Shuns are still razor sharp.

I will keep my Cordon Bleu, still razor sharp. I do not need the macho stuff, I am already macho enough.

Most of mine are still extremely sharp...except for my over used 8 inch chefs...which isn't bad, but I forsee having to sharpen it. I'll have to check out the shun sharpener. Thanks
