| Those are for the seats on-stage, plus you get to sample the food he makes and I think you get wine as well.
The 'in the audience' seats are a lot less...I'd rather go out to a nice dinner either before or after.
Besides, I don't think Guy has anything to do with prices. That's up to the promoter and venue. I know many venues take a percentage of the ticket sales, plus the rental of the space. Add to that all the crew, the food, travel, hotels, etc., etc.
and there isn't that much leftover.
Having worked on events, I know many have their hand in the pot and you are lucky if you break even.
Not saying this is the case for Guy's tour, which it probably isn't, but his bottom line isn't close to the actual dollar ticket sales.
