Caught tonites' show, Real Deal BBQ, and it was a hummmmdinger! It really showed off Guys roots as a BBQ team competitor from way back (and sometime still I understand).

The Man was ON as usual, and every segment on this lucious BBQ trail was MONEY!

The leadin segment from Gardena's Jay Bee BBQ was wonderful. What a great place, although it looks like a bit of a rough neighborhood---a true BBQ shack anyway! I'm gonna head there (in the daylight) next time down in the Southland. I'm thinkin that Guy found this place a long time ago after he left Vegas and went to that corporate job down in LA.

The second segment was about a jernt in Chicago looked really good too, and the great part was that it was a new place, set up by three dudes who dropped out of corporate life to do what they love best---Q'n for smilin' hungry people.

Be sure to catch it on rerun (schedule below from FN)

I didn't get to see it. But that's the good thing about the food network, you usually get more than one shot at it, unless it's a weekend daytime show. For some reason they don't seem to run those again.

They sometimes rerun the weekend daytime shows, at least they did yesterday. Saw the one with Emeril and his son, EJ, again.

Of course, they rerun Ina's. Have seen the one with her and TJ a number of times and, I can honestly say, I never get sick of watching him!
