Stumbled across this doing some cross-referencing.

On the page, there's a video of a commercial (which should be running soon I guess) that I haven't seen yet, so maybe this is new? If so, it starts on February 17th, and stars Marc Summers and Guido. That would make three series running with Guido hosting/co-hosting.

Premiering Series

Ultimate Recipe Showdown is Food Network’s annual event designed to identify and promote the best new recipes in the country created by amateurs. In each high-energy, tightly structured hour-long episodes URS will challenge some of America’s greatest home cooks to prepare at least three original recipes in front of a live audience in Las Vegas.
Each episode will be dedicated to a different category of food - cookies, pies, chicken, barbecue, etc. Each competitor will be required to prepare at least three different recipes for that category– chocolate chip cookies, spice cookies, fruit cookies, etc.- in short rounds of competition.

Sounds interesting. Seems like Guy has become more of a "host" than a chef on FN. I did get to see Big Bite today. I think he does better with the hosting spots personally.
