Food Network nod triggers big rush at Matt's Richard Ruelas

It should have been an omen when the Food Network folks realized they would have a tough time getting their equipment and cameras inside the tiny downtown Phoenix eatery called Matt's Big Breakfast. Ever since the restaurant was featured on the network, the already-tight space has become jampacked.
"It's been crazy," said Matt Pool, the owner of the 3-year-old eatery.
The 45-minute waits that were common on the weekends have spilled over into the weekdays after the restaurant was featured on the season premiere of the Food Network's
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
