I think they are trying to keep the pace up so people stay pumped up while watching. Lots of energy going on there.

FN has quite a few shows that are high-energy and kind of like the celebs are rushing....RR, Guy, Iron Chef, Paula's Party, Anne Burrell.

Then you have the laid back....Michael, Bobby, Ina, Sandra, Robin, Ellie. They do offer a variety of styles.

I imagine that each show has its own style of prepping, cooking and serving the food that the host or chef cooks.
