Rep Power: 3 | Guy Fieri: He's Off The Hook Guy Fieri: He's Off the Hook

Last week I had the chance to speak with Food Network's Guy Fieri. He's the host of three shows, Guy's Big Bite; Diners, Drive-ins, Dives; and Guy Off the Hook, and winner of the Next Food Network Star season 2. Filming keeps him incredibly busy, but in his spare time the celebrity chef — who prefers hot dogs to hamburgers and mustard to ketchup — continues to experiment in the kitchen. He's deeply passionate about food, especially food education for children, and "encourages people to get on the food train." Fieri and I talked about his upcoming appearance at New York City Wine and Food Festival and I got to see a softer side of the "in it to win it" bad-boy chef. Rep Power: 3 | Has anyone noticed that his set is different now on Guy's Big Bite?
I'm watching it now, and he's got stainless steel appliances and countertops now.
They all seem to be using those big clear glass bowls that I like!! |

Rep Power: 10 | I don't think he was ever very big, it was just those shirts and TV makes everyone look heavier.
I enjoyed his new show.

Rep Power: 3 | He also appears very briefly in the California wine commercial - the one where Arnold Swartzeneger says; "You'll be back".

Rep Power: 2 | I have been watching Guys new show, seemed rushed to me. The 30 min format is not long enough for a live audience. If you had to chose which would you watch DDD, Guy's Big Bite, or off the hook ? I am leaning toward his Big Bite, his show today, was new and he was clean, organized and showed really good culinary skills.

Rep Power: 3 | Triple D is rushed. The scenes jump around a lot and the music is so loud at times it's hard to hear what the people are saying. Kinds of reminds me of the rock music videos they do now.
Emeril Live was rushed too. Sometimes I think it would have been better if they had left out one recipe and taken things a wee bit slower.
I've noticed that this "rush" aspect with loud music seems to be the trend right now on FN. Guess they think it will help attach the younger audience.
Guess I'm too much of a old lady who like to take her time and not a hip-hop teenager.

Rep Power: 10 | I don't know, I really like his new show. My preference of order DD&D, Off the Hook and Big Bite.
They sure use the word BIG a lot in titles and on the shows.
