Food Network show gives Ahwatukee restaurant a boost

Guy Fieri, star of three Food Network shows since his second season win on "The Next Food Network Star" competition, knows his food and he definitely likes Ahwatukee's Los Taquitos.

"I love Mexican Food; I've sampled Mexican food all around the world and the Ochoa sisters are definitely doing it right," he wrote via e-mail recently. "The only disappointment I have with Los Taquitos is that it's not in my home town."

A similar statement was part of his recently broadcast segment on Los Taquitos that premiered June 15 on his "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" show, and will be repeated July 10, 11 and 12.
