He's burning up the Food Network with his over-the-top style. Now Guy Fieri, the network's new marquee chef, is in town for a cooking demonstration and a few days of shooting for his "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" show. He's only 41 and his cooking-as-rock'n'-roll is paying off.

Well, Guy will never replace Emeril, I never seen him try cooking in one of DDD, he eats but not cooks. So much in this article that is way off track, I do not believe the author has ever watched the programs. Oh well guess that is why my goverment teacher taught to only beleive 10% of what you read. and the problem is some of the stuff you really want to believe, other stuff you know alright is a falsehood. oh well guess that is my 10%

prepared with passion and served with love !

Although I've seen him flip a burger or two on DDD and occasionally stir a pot of something,
I didn't get the impression that the writer was saying he cooked on DDD, but on his "Off the Hook" show.

In any case, I agree with you that Guy cannot replace Emeril. They are each unique in their own way and each have a different audience appeal.

I like them both, but for different reasons.
