Halloween's not just for the kids

The Nassau Guardian - Oct 31 4:24 AMThe kids are out hoarding a candy stash that could probably stock a mini store for the next few weeks. And of course they're out with a responsible adult, while you're left at home to answer the door bell for the trick-or-treaters that will come knocking.

I LOVE Halloween!!! Have the outside all decorated, except for my Jack-O-Lanterns. The sun is shining right now and I don't want them to 'bake'. I'll put those out about 4pm.

Making Julia Child's French Onion Soup for dinner. Thought that would be good to start making it about 4 and eat about 6, before the trick-or-treaters start coming.

Going to be a warm, clear night so we should get at least 100, if not more. We use to get over 200 but the neighborhood has grown up. Oh well, I still have fun!

Our trick or treat was last night. One of the kids in my son's class is having a birthday party and wants them to wear their costumes tonight.
