The Barefoot Contessa is neither, but the misnomer used for celebrated chef Ina Garten is easy to forgive once you've had a look inside one of her six cookbooks.
As with her previous books, Garten's latest effort, "Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics," includes recipes that are easy to follow, with photos that show how each concoction should look once completed.
