First time I'd ever seen the fallopian tubes still attached. When I saw those the first thing I said to the DH was "chicken chitlins!"

Thumbs down

Long-time Iron Chef fans should be used to "strange" food, as Chairman Kaga was using octopus, angler fish, eel, bamboo, and other exotic ingredients at the Gourmet Academy years ago.

What I find as gross is all the tattoos and piercings these folks have anymore (it's the same way on Top Chef, too). Didn't they ever teach these folks that if you're going to deal with the public, one of the things you're going to be judged by is appearance? Yuck.

I've always thought some of these people need to be giving a good scrubbing. Tats on the arms and legs don't bother me, but it's the ones on the necks and faces I wonder why people get. I wonder what they're going to look like when they get into their 60's and 70's with wrinkles and sagging skin. There were a couple of the female chefs on this season's Top Chef that were loaded up with the tats and piercing (neck and face) and I wonder why they though it looks good. I guess, to each their own.

I saw a girl with a marijuana leaf tattooed on the back of her neck a while back, I tried to picture her as a little blue haired old lady and it still there. Couldn't bring that image up.

I don't like eggs. No where, cooked any way. except if used in cake, icecream, or such. Do you realize that the egg is the period of the chicken? Double YUK!

Iron Chef had some weird stuff, can not say I seen anything that was gross, till this unlaid egg, what civilization eats that ? At least with Iron Chef it was stuff that was unusual but not just alright gross. I wonder who in their right mind came up with that ingredient? they need to be fired. After doing a search I guess this is some kind of treat as one person called it, it is just disgusting for me. Eggs taken from old hens that they use in stewing, guess waste not want not, but not for me.

Last week's episode is on again. I'm going to watch Supernanny instead.

Before I moved here, I lived in Cincinnati where I was born & raised. We have a grocery store there called Jungle Jims & it is a giant international grocery as well as regular grocery. My friend & I would go & spend the DAY there - that's how big it is & we loved to see the foods from all over the world. I used to just watch at the fresh fish section because they had fish heads, live eels, weird innards & all kinds of odd looking sea creatures. No unlaid eggs though! I was always amazed that people ate them. I still love that store & when I go back to visit, I always bring Erik with me to marvel at the amazing food treasures. He's always slightly less than impressed though - except for the beer section!

I have to agree with the face & neck tattoos & I say that as a tattooed person myself. I only have 3 & they are all my own designs & tastefully placed where they can be covered 99% of the time. Unless I'm wearing capri pants or a spaghetti strap style top, you won't see them. I need to be employed at all times! I get personal expression & all that, but do you really think having your face look like a tackle box will prepare you for a good future? Of course, on the other hand - these people are all over our TV's cooking!! So I guess it's OK to tattoo your face & pierce everything you can get a needle through!

My brother drives over to Jungle Jim's every now and then. I guess it's about 4 hours from here.
