Was I the only one that really didn't like him? I liked Trevino though.

No, you're not the only one that found Appleman distasteful. I thought he was rude and nasty. His made up cutesy stories were disingenuous. I was happy to see him go. I'm rooting for Freitag. I am also mystified by Mehta whom I find arroant and a not-so-great a chef.

I was kind of surprised that Appleman was sent packing. I thought it would come down to him and Chef Freitag. Chef Freitag has been my choice before the first episode aired.
I wish they would hurry up and send Chef Mehta home. I liked him when he won on ICA, but ever since his stunt of taking all the grape leaves, he's been getting on my nerves. I
when he didn't win either of the Indian food challenges this past Sunday because he thought he had it in the bag. Most of all, cook from the heart, and you’ll never be lonely when the dinner bell rings! - Chef Robert Irvin

Oh hey, and while we're at it--Why didn't Freitag win the challenge? They thought her chicken was LOVELY and Garces' tapioca pearls were HARD! Ummm, that was a total rip off! You're not going to tell me that the carrot salad thing was THAT bad?!? Meanwhile they said the pudding was 'unservable' almost.

I have had a twitter comment sent to me asking how it was fair for them to have to do Indian food with an Indian chef. It does seem like he would have an advantage over the others.

But there was also a Mexican challenge and 2 Latin chefs.
I didn't like Appleman at all. He was arrogant for my taste.
My favorite is Chef Mullen. He seems to have a lot of skills. I like Chef Freitag too

Turns out it was fair since Mehta bombed, LOL....
Also, one of the other challenges was latin based and one could say that isn't fair with Trevino and Garces in the challenge, right? Again, it didn't really matter as they both didn't fare so hot in the end.

I was impressed any of them came up with anything for Indian food (Chef Mehta aside), I wouldn't have the slightest idea. I thought Chef Freitag would win that too because of the very positive comments she received and she had also baked the bread that they seemed to like. She has been my favorite in the competition from the beginning, but I don't think she has won any of the competitions has she?

Thai: Green Curry with Fish Balls mini challenge on Episode 3. I'm a little nervous since she hasn't really won anything else. I feel a little robbed. Are they in the tank for Mullen? He seems so bland to me? Although the most wins anyone has is 2 aside from the dumped Appleman with 3. No one is safe.
