Now that another chef has been voted off it is starting to get real exciting...I like Besh too...he is such a cowboy, but I am not sure that he is the best chef....though he would make a good Iron Chef...

Hahaha! You must have misunderstood what I said or maybe I didn't say it very well....I did not say that he was a bad chef,....he is a great chef, but I don't know if he is the best one in the competition although his personality is definitely the best for Iron Chef!

Well it is true that we don't get to know the iron chef's all that well. They are too busy to see much personality. I think I would prefer to see him with his own show really.

We are watching "Codename: the Cleaner" with Cedric the entertainer right now (well we paused it actually) and were surprised to see the Chairman of Iron Chef America acting as a big head of some company in the movie.
On realizing it was him my husband said "allez cuisine!" and I keep waiting for him to take a bite out of a crisp apple!
Its funny, never knew he had his own imdb.

You are right! He would definitely make for a much better show than some of the other chefs that currently have their own shows... )

I know exactly how you feel....the first time that I saw him on TV in a show other than Iron Chef, I was very surprised, but now that I have, I have seen him in quite a few other programs....I guess he does a lot of television work...it's just a matter of recognizing him out of context, so to speak...
