BESH STILL IN IT: Last week, Jill Davie, executive chef of Josie in Los Angeles, became the second chef to be eliminated on "The Next Iron Chef," the Food Network show on Sunday at 8 p.m. in which local celeb chef John Besh is competing. On Sunday, the chefs compete in resourcefulness, secretly selecting ingredients from a harvest of wild things, and are taken outdoors to create a delicious meal on the fly with meager supplies and equipment. Then two chefs will be eliminated. The series concludes Nov. 11.

I will get to watch tonight at 8. Usually have to wait till everyone else falls asleep.

I can't even record this during the 9 timeslot because of conflicts. I love this show, but it repeats so I'll record the Steelers and Desperate Housewives and then the midnight showing of this. I'll have to make sure to avoid this forum until I get to watch the show.

Oh I guess it will be on at 9 here, I never have control of the remote when my hubby is here on Sunday. I get to choose tonight.

BAYOU BOY IN FINAL BATTLE: Sunday at 8 p.m. on the Food Network, local chef John Besh will walk into Kitchen Stadium to battle Cleveland's Michael Symon for the title of "The Next Iron Chef" in the grand finale of the reality show. In last week's episode, Besh spoke French while shopping for ingredients in Paris and wore a blazer, which made his two opponents in T-shirts look like slackers when the challenge turned out to be at the Baronness Pontalba's old digs, the American Embassy, where each chef had to prepare an American dinner for 20.
