4/29 - Episodes of the Week - Sorry, Charlie

Iron Chef Collection » Blog Archive » Episodes of the Week - Sorry, Charlie

This week's theme is Tuna. It was used 5 times, but only two of those aired on Food Network. We added both of those episodes this week.

New in the database this week: Tuna (226), Fatty Tuna (635)

You know I used to eat tuna a lot as a kid, but I don't like it as well now. I guess because the rest of my family doesn't like seafood. The kids will eat shrimp and fried fish but that's about it. My husband doesn't like any of it.

I love tuna, especially the fresh tuna, grilled. But my wife hates tuna unless it is out of a canned in form of a spread. So I do not get it very often.

Yes the canned mixed as a sandwich spread is what I used to have as a kid.

We are spoiled out here with all the fresh fish. I do enjoy a good tuna salad, which I enjoy making. Recently bought fresh jumbo prawns and are they tasty!

Used one of Robin Miller's recipes and yes, it was very good. Not big on her show, but every so often she'll have a recipe that I'll try. I start off with her basic recipe and add my own touches.
