Food Network’s 4-in-1 grill station does it all with flair

I use Electrisol but I don't put them in the dishwasher every time I use it, only if they are extra messy.

we use cascade powder in our dishwasher - had problems with electrosol and the technician said we should never use electrosol. But, we switched before putting the grill plates in the dishwasher. We even put the backsides towards each other to help prevent the scratches. I would call their customer support to alert them of the problem(s), but the cost to ship the item back doesn't seem worth it. I saw a Hamilton Beach one on Cooking.com and am thinking of ordering it as the plates are not removable which will prevent any hinge issues from arising. Anybody used this one before?
