Yeah, if any of you never tried to use one, it's easy. There ARE safety features built into it so that it won't blow up.

I've had my Fagor unit for almost 13 years, and it NEVER ONCE gave me any trouble at all. I've recently replaced some parts on it such as the gasket, both handles and the loocking knob for the crossbar. It works as good as when i first bought it!!

The Rikon Kuan does not hiss. It's very quiet. If you ever get one, make sure that it's a stainless steel one. They won't lose their luster and shine like an aluminum one will.
