People don't use the word, 'swell' as often as they use to...that needs to come back. Very 'Leave It to Beaver-ish'.

Even though it's passe, I still like the word "sweeeeet".

And did you realize that the word "cool" is still being used even after many, many decades? Each couple of years it seems to take on a little different meaning....but it's still the same word. I was a teenager in the 50's and it was, "Cool man" as we danced the jitterbug with our collars turned up in the back and our poodle skirts flying, LOL. Oh, yah, I may have a 66-year-old body but 'upstairs' I'm still a kid.

I just hope 'out of sight' or 'right-on' don't come back. Those were annoying.

I'm a 60's child so we said 'groovy'. Drove my mother nuts!

If you are a 50's child did you say, 'you dig?' My sister is a year younger than you and that was her slang.

Looks like I am out of luck. I don't have a receipt, or a local store, and I didn't order from the catalog so I don't have an order number. I guess I will just buy a new one.

Thank you for contacting Williams-Sonoma.

We would first like to apologize for the delay in our response to your inquiry. Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties along with the large volume of customer emails during this Holiday Season we have been delayed in our response time. Again, we are truly sorry for this delay.

We regret to hear of your recent experience with your item purchased from Williams-Sonoma. If you are not completely satisfied with a Williams-Sonoma purchase or gift for any reason, please return it for exchange or merchandise credit; refund checks will be issued only for items purchased by cash. Refund checks are unavailable to registrants for registry gifts. You may return Williams-Sonoma merchandise at any Williams-Sonoma retail store or by mail. The following policies apply to all returns:>>
>>
- Returns with the original purchase receipt will be exchanged or refunded in the original tender.>>
>>
- Returns with a gift receipt, including gift-registry returns, will be exchanged or refunded for the value indicated on the gift receipt in the form of a merchandise credit. >>
>>
- Returns without the original purchase receipt, including gift-registry returns, will be exchanged or refunded at the current selling price in the form of a merchandise credit.>>
>>
If your item was purchased through our Catalog/Internet division, please provide us with your order number and/or billing address, and we will be happy to further research this issue. >>
>>
However, if your item was purchased through a Williams-Sonoma retail location, please return it to your local retail store for further assistance. You may also contact the retail store directly for any additional assistance. To locate a store near you, please click on the link below.>>

Oh boy, does this mean I will have to keep every receipt on things I purchase? I better make a huge filing system!

I do have a file system for all warranties, instruction books, etc. Maybe I will just add the appropriate receipts to those files. More paper!

Gotta agree with Bluejeanz, here. I've had my Zyliss "Susie" Garlic Press for about 15 years. Never a problem...I LOVE the little cleaner they include, and I believe it can be had for 10-12 bucks. Here's what it looks like:

Zyliss Susie Garlic Press (Gadgets) at Gloria's Treasures

I cannot recommend this more highly! All others, IMO, are inferior.
