Rep Power: 0 | I love my breadmaker and use it to make bread (obviously), pizza doughs and just to start dough for breads that I may finish off by hand. Trying to be a little more healthy, I've gotten into making wheat dough for pizza. With prices rising on groceries, making my own bread and pizza dough is definitely more economical. |

That bread book that BB recommend looks good. Took a peek at some of it at Amazon. I'll have to see if the Good Cook has it. And, it has a recipe for a sunflower bread. Been looking for a good one since I bought some very good sunflower bread out in AZ a couple years ago that the DH and I really enjoyed. |

Rep Power: 3 | The Good Cook did have "Artisan Bread" and another one I had seen yesterday at B&N that I didn't get. Glad I didn't buy it yesterday, because Good Cook is having a $11.99 sale and both of these were on sale. So, got both for less than the price of one and they're on their way.
The other one I ordered was "Cooking in the South" by Johnnie Gabriel. |

Rep Power: 10 | I make bread in the cooler months. This summer I have been buying this bread at the store. It's wonderful. I would love to find a recipe for it. Ecce Panis |

Making bread in the winter is good to go along with that wonderful hot tasty pot of homemade soup that you might like to make! |
