Rep Power: 1 | Great info! Thanks!
I may keep an eye on ebay, it doesn't hurt to have a back-up! I would be lost without my Kitchenaid!

Rep Power: 2 | You're welcome! Glad to help.
Yeah, that's why I have three myself. They are all very good. The Electrolux Assistant though, has an 8-qt work bowl. |

Rep Power: 3 | I'd be lost without our Kitchen Aid. How did Mom ever do it?

Rep Power: 2 | I've got the KA Pro 600 bowl-lift stand mixer. Had it for around 6 years and it's still going strong. I do a lot of baking, so it's gotten plenty of workouts. When not in use, I park it out of the way in a corner on the counter. |

Rep Power: 2 | My K-5SS was almost killed!
I bought that ill-fated grinder attachment, went to use it to grind some meat for spaghetti sauce, and the thing started making the mixer labor badly!!!
The transmission had almost seized! Come to find out liquid had leaked into the machinery and cause the transmission to start slipping. Luckily, I still have the slightly smaller K-45SS which had finished the job.
I sent that piece of junk back for a refund and bought a separate electric food grinder instead. And it works great!! |

Rep Power: 10 | Don't have one and probably never will. I don't like all the space they take up and the Oster handmixer has all the attachments I need. Call me old-fashioned, but I like to put everything away and not have a lot things on the counter.

Rep Power: 2 | I'd do that as well, only I have no cabinet space except for the ones up over the sink, and I'm not about to lift one of those stand mixers or even the food processor up THAT high. Too heavy! |
