Rep Power: 3 | I once had a Revere Stainless Steel Cookware set, you know, the one with the copper bottoms? Only paid about $59.00 for it at the time in the early '80s.
Over time, it had pitted and corroded, getting holes into some of the pots. I had to throw it away, as it became totally useless. They STILL make it that way, but the bottoms are too thin for me! No protection from excessive heat. |

Rep Power: 0 | I used to have Revere with the copper bottom, in fact for years. But have now upgraded to the All Clad - sort of a gift to myself. Very happy with the purchase. Have to admit when I made the investment, I waited for a sale and drove upto NH (tax-free) to get my 10 piece set and grill pan. As for the Revere - it's still in good shape and has been lovingly donated to my younger sister. |

Rep Power: 3 | All the way from the Cape?
I think I got enough cookware now. But I LOVE my Emerilware the most! |

Rep Power: 3 | I drool over All Clad. :tongue2:
Right now my primary cookware is my cast iron skillet and griddle. I recently bought a nice cast iron dutch oven (Lodge). I use Corningware Vision (the glass sauce pots) that my mom found for me at a church rummage sale. |

Rep Power: 3 | All-Clad is said to be one of the very elite gormet standards in cookware. |

Rep Power: 3 | Wasn't he the one who had his own show on the FN? His set looks almost similar to the Emerilware with the copper near the bottoms. |
