Linens N Things
I don't know how it is everywhere else, but my mom and I went to Linens n Things yesterday in River Forest, IL and they're going out of business. It was 20% off most everything in the store (a few things were 40% off). We bought some things for our new pantry. Then today we were in Wisconsin and we thought maybe we could pick up some things at the Linens n Things in Racine it was completely gone (replaced by a Halloween Store). If you're looking for some items for your kitchen Linens n Things might be the place to look. They had a lot of Rachael Ray and Emeril product lines there, which were all 20% off.

I haven't heard anything about the ones here in Charleston closing... yet. Might be worth checking it out!

When we were up in Pennsylvania a few months back there was one going out of business up there. I got my brother a hamburger press and I bought some mixing spoons and a silicone steamer.

The one we went to yesterday we didn't know was closing, we were just going to look for stuff for our pantry. I bought some canisters to put my bread flour and ingrediants into.
Oooh I should show you guys our new pantry.

I see not all of their stores are closing - just 120 of the lowest performing ones. Here's a list of them: http://media.corporate-ir.net/media_...easeNew5_1.pdf
The list starts on page 3 of the article and the one here isn't on it. Guess I won't get to go bargain hunting.

The one in Racine is on the list, but the one in River Forest, IL isn't. Maybe this one is part of a second wave of closings or something.

I'll have to see if the one here is closing. I know Bed, Bath and Beyond gives them a lot of competition. I love that store!
