Kitchen Gadgets of the Future

Did anyone watch this show tonight? I would need to rent a warehouse if I had all that stuff.

I like kitchens of the future. It has Alton.

Didn't watch either one, but did watch the Bon Appetit special at 10 PM with Alton.

I missed it but would love a robot from the movie I Robot in my kitchen.

That was on before some time ago. I watched it back then. I think I recorded it then also. But I watched it again anyway.

Ron Popeill was featured on it. Thought that it would be back on today, but it's not on the schedule.

It was from 2005, we watched it. Too many things were unnecessary, like the big jar opener. Where would you store it?

Gotta love that Ron Popeil....we just laughed at some of the stuff like the spatula/turner for meat. It was just a spatula/tongs with one side open. No need for that. Either tongs or a spatula would work just fine. Or the scramble eggs needle thing. How hard is it to crack an egg and scramble it?

It was an interesting show, but can't say there was anything I would buy.

He says the egg thing makes it more blended than with the fork. But I can use the stick blender and get the same results. And use it for many other things as well. The egg scrambler might just be the ultimate unitasker.

When I saw that, right away, I thought about the Grip N' Flip spatula which was advertised by Kathy Mitchell. Haha!! Which I already have.

I watched the Kitchen of the Future because of Alton... but I skipped the gadget one. Too many unitaskers! I remember watching parts of it when it first came out, once was plenty

I don't scramble eggs very often. I am the only one that eats eggs and I prefer over easy. I beat them for recipes but that's usually about it.
