Rep Power: 10 | Timing food has never been an issue with me. I have it down like a finely tuned symphony.

Rep Power: 10 | My microwave has a timer and I usually use it. I use the timer more than I use the microwave. |

Rep Power: 3 | I use the timer on my MW too, plus my range has several timers (each with their own different "beep"), but timing has never been a problem for me.
This timer would tho make a great gift for that new cook who just learning. The range design is kind of nifty.

Rep Power: 2 | I use the timer on my prode thermometer most of the time.
But I recently found a retro style stainless steel timer (you crack it around and set the time, its cool) that I love and now use more than my probe thermometer's timer. |

Rep Power: 3 | I've got one of those wireless probe thermometer that I use with my smoker. That way I don't have to keep running outside to check the temp.

My microwave has one also (just looked for it), but I still have yet to use it.
I never knew that there was such a thing on microwaves. Until now! I've always used my Pilsbury Dough Boy timer.
That time is in the shape of a stove. First time seeing one like that! |

I usually time pasta and cakes, things that are in the oven for a long time get timed so I don't forget them.
When making a big meal, I have worked out the timing thing without having to set a timer, friends like to watch because all of a sudden everything comes together at once!
