New Dough Hook For KA Stand Mixers

Hate the way dough rides up the C-shaped dough hook with your 6-quart KA stand mixer? Guess lots of folks did, so KA has made a new and improved spiral dough hook that comes on all new 6-qt. stand mixers. But, those of us that already have a 6-qt. KA mixer can get one as a attachment for $19.99. There is also a coated version. KitchenAid Online Store | KitchenAid Dough Hook - Burnished Spiral - Wide Bowl - KNS256BDH

Instead of grasping the dough, this new pigtail-shaped hook rolls the dough over in the bottom of the bowl, kneading it better and faster than the old C-shaped hook.

Looks like they are out of stock. We would have to wait for it. Have you checked amazon?

I just ordered mine. They only had two left. Now, there's one.

K'Aid is out of stock on them now. Just checked.

Can't use it anyway, since my 2 K'Aid Stand Mixers are the traditional K-45SS and K-5SS ones, and they only accommodate the C-shaped dough hooks that come with them.
