That's what the article says - "and is now a licensor of branded kitchenware."

This is too strange.
I ran into Walmart this afternoon before work and there was Paula Deen cookware.
I stopped and that... now Paula has cookware?
But what I saw was stainless and copper

I've seen both, the SS and enameled at BB&B.

Paula has had the stainless and copper out for about a year or so now(QVC or HSN), I believe the cast iron as well. I see that she has stoneware bakeware that looks really nice.
There was a funny song by the Da yoopers that mentioned Shopko, that is all that I have ever heard of it!MAC

Expect Chefs Aaron and Jeff to introduce cookware with THEIR name on it soon (it won't be long before Aaron's smoked paprka comes out).
I suspect that Paula's cookware might be made by Revere. Look at those handles and knobs. They look almost similar to the ones on the old-style Revere SS cookware with the thin copper bottoms. Even the hanging rings!
I could be wrong though, but that's the way that it looks to me.

I have the very old Revereware and they don't look like Paula's. The shape of the handle is similar, but that's about it. BTW, it's the greatest and still going strong after 36 years!

Mine pitted and it had to be dumped! I think would have lasted longer if it weren't for those careless people who once lived with me!
It was the first and last stainless steel set I had before buying the Emerilware.

I've got some pieces of the copper Revereware that I got right after we were married in 1974 and it's still trucking. No pits, no dings... just have to shine the copper once in a while.
