Cupcake stand ... saran quick covers?

I would like to get one of the cupcake stands that seem so popular right now to use for Christmas. Does anyone know if they still make saran quick covers? and if they make any small enough to cover the cupcakes when you leave them in the stand?

My best friend goes to the HBC section of WalMart and gets the shower caps, she says that they are a lot cheaper. She learned that from her mother who would collect unused shower caps from motels when traveling.

From the Saran website it looks like the quick covers have been discontinued, I found this info under the FAQ section.

Shower caps would probably be too big for cupcakes but that's a good idea for the bowl covers. They did make a variety of sizes for the quick covers.

Oh, poop. I've been using them since they came out and needed to get some more, because I've popped my elastic in most of the big ones. Guess I'll have to get a few shower caps next trip to WallyWorld.

The Vermont Country Store did have them. I'll have to check them out too.

I am thinking now maybe I can put them in little clear bags and tie the top with a pretty tie.

If you look at craft/hobby stores like AC Moore or Michael's they have a nice assortment of different sized bags made from the really clear cellophane, they would show off the cupcakes well. They also sell silver and gold twist ties.
