A Sauce Pot That NEVER Burns Food!

I'm quite sure that we've all dreamed of this and in the past, we wished that there was such a thing;

How would you like to cook your favorite speghetti sauce, soup, chowder, stew, pot rost or even a stovetop casserole and never have to worry about whatever is cooked in the pot being burned, scorched or even stuck to the bottom of it?

Now there IS such a thing - a 12-qt pot that reguardless of the amount of heat you have under it, will never burn anything at all!

Because it not only uses a thick-clad 7 layers of SS and aluminum, it also has a hermetically-sealed oil chamber in the base that keeps the food from ever being in danger of getting ruined by burning, scorching and sticking! Much like the oil that's sealed in those radiator-style heaters.

When the oil in the chamber heats up, it provides sort of a cushion between the food and the bottom extrior of the pot that make burning the foo virtually impossible. You'll never again have to clean burned-on food from THIS pot.

To see it, go here;

http://www.chefscatalog.com , click on New, then Cookware, then View All. Scroll down until you see the pic of the pot, then click on it.

Sorry, but the page just wouldn't come up, so I edited the instructions. Tried to do it three times and it wouldn't work, so I provided an alternate way to get to it.

It's there, the link to the page just won't work yet.

Thanks!

How were you able to do it so easily? Seems that it just wouldn't work for me!

I don't know how to do that, but it sure looks real easy!

Yeah, I forgot to mention that the pot is VERY EXPENSIVE, costing $200.00 each! I'd LOVE to have it, but I think I'll wait until it's marked down first.

The extra-low simmer burner on my range does the same thing. I can put a pot of stew, soup, chili, etc on it and leave it all day without the need to stir and it doesn't burn nor scorch. That way I can use the stock pots or dutch ovens I already have. It's also handy to use for melting chocolate and butter.

I think I remember seeing a smaller pot some time ago that has that same feature as this one, and I think I saw it at Chefs.

A double boiler works almost the same way, but that's only for delicate things like custards for ice cream, pastry cream, etc.

There is also a kind of thick trivet that lets people cook delicate stuff on the stovetop without the danger or fear of burning the food.

I can't remember the last time that I burned anything. I have a cheap GE range and as long as I keep it between medium low and low nothing burns, I also have nice heavy pots, so that helps.
