I own the Thane FlavorWave Convection Oven which is essentially similar to this unit.
And it DOES do exactly what the ad says it can do. I've baked some turkey legs in it twice and they came out moist, tender & juicy inside and crispy dry and golden outside. In almost half the cooking time!
One notable difference though; The unit shown has a regular heating element, while mine has a Halogen heating element in which the coil is enclosed in a glas tube and glows a bright orange when it's on. But I guess it's made a little bit different now
I like mine. I'm so glad that it's not advertised by Billy Mays though. The one who yells and screams!! i can't STAND that guy!!!
Cleanup IS easy, as the ad says. All parts except the power unit can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.
