Classy and stylish.

Stand mixers, being the workhorses of the kitchen, get put through the paces. I suppose it is this connection that inspires the home chef to decorate his or her stand mixer such that it is their own. From Alton Brown's flame hot-rod mixer to cow spot decals you can purchase yourself, the mixer has become an extension of personality in the kitchen. It certainly makes sense, since the stand mixer is the one doing all the work for us.

would not be without mine. Best investment in a product, that will be passed on down the line to the next generation in the family, but only after I am dearly departed, which hopefully will not be for at least 30 more years, it will be mixing long after I am.

Don't have one, don't need one.
Just me and DH and the Oster hand mixer is an absolute dream. Came with all the hooks and beaters and life is good!
Plus, it stores very nicely in the lower kitchen cabinets. BerryBaby

Best investment of a kitchen appliance (besides my Dacor range) I have made. Some of the batters I have to mix (like my cookie dough) are so thick or heavy, they would have killed a number of handmixers by now.

I use the mixer to cream the butter, sugars and eggs. The flour mixture is always mixed in by hand. That's just how I have always done it.
Though, it would be a real luxury to have the mixer do it all.

This is the Dacor range that I have Dacor Kitchen Appliances: Epicure 30" Dual Fuel Range and I really love it! Before purchasing it, I did check out the Viking, Wolf, 5-Star and DSC. There is appliance showroom in Charleston were I could see all those models. The Dacor had all the features I wanted like the simmer/sear burner and the others didn't. Check out the videos at the website. It's like shopping for a car. I made a list of things I wanted in a commecial-style range and the Dacor was the only one that had them all. But, what could be the range for me, may not be so for everyone else. But, if you get one... I think you would be well pleased with it.

Thanks for the link, first one I have seen that offers all that in a 30", which will eliminate changing counters around to make it fit in my current kitchen, although I would love a 6 burner with a griddle, it does not hurt to dream does it, only painful when you wake up and go who took my new stove ?
