Sorry, I think this is ridiculous. I much perfer to drink out of a clean bottle than a drinking fountain! Have you seen some of the fountains...they are disgusting.

If I want to spend money on a plastic container filled with water versus soda, that is my decision. I don't buy it because it tastes better than tap water. I buy it because if I am out and about, and thirsty, that is my drink of choice.

This, in my opinion, is a waste of time and money.

I buy bottled if I am away from home, I agree fountains are gross. I have even seen people spit in them. At home I drink the water filtered thru my fridge.

But if you put gum on the edge of your bottle it's just not as fun as putting it on the drinking fountain and watching people squirt themselves.

Well, where I live they are encouraging purchases of bottled water. The drought is so bad in the south, if people were to switch solely to tap water, there'd be nothing left of the reserves. Right now they say if we don't get rain, some areas have only a three month supply of water left.

So, sorry Mario, we don't have a lot of choice right now.
