chef Dinner at Babbo 5/31/2008
Babbo was a wonderful experience.
Great food and perfect service!

Mario was out of town but I did get a chance to say "Hi" to Frank Langello.

Right after we sat down, before the menus were handed out, we were served marinated ceci beans over bruschetta as a pre-antipasto.

We ordered:
  • Vino
    • Barbera
    • Tocai
  • Antipasto
    • Roasted Beet Tartare
    • Grilled marinated mushrooms
    • Grilled octopus
    • Marinated fresh sardines
  • Primi (shared 3)
    • Pappardelle Bolognese
    • Gnocchi in Oxtail ragu
    • Goat cheese tortelloni
  • Secondi
    • Roast sea bass (2)
    • Grilled quail
    • Fennel Dusted Sweetbreads
  • Dolci
    • Gelati and Sorbetti
    • Biscotti and Cookies
  • Digestivi
    • Nardini Grappa
    • Lemoncello
