Writer sues over Paltrow and Batali TV road trip

NEW YORK (Reuters Life!) - An Emmy Award-winning comedy writer is suing the producer of a TV series about a Spanish road trip by U.S. celebrity chef Mario Batali and actress Gwyneth Paltrow, saying he was never paid for weeks of work.

Mario has certainly had a lot of bad press in his TV ventures lately.

I'm lost. So why does Master Mario have anything to do with this? As far as I could see, he isn't producing the show.

I love Mario, and to see him paired with Gweneth? I guess I'm missing something there, too. Do you have any info on when the show will air? I have 2 PBS stations. One from Seattle and one from someplace in Oregon. It's wierd....they don't show the same things. I guess all PBS stations aren't the same. I personally preferr the Seattle PBS station.

Seems like someone took it on their self, if he went without a contract, If i was doing research for someone and I had talked with them, I would at least expect travel expenses to there in advance.

Are you in Oregon or Washington? Oregon has a couple PBS stations so not sure which one you are receiving. I'm in Portland.
