Let the battle begin for a dinner prepared by the Food Network's Mario Batali!
TRAVERSE CITY --Â Love food? Love beer?
Then for the love of both check out the Epicurean Classic in Traverse City.
Now in its fifth year, the Epicurean Classic is a three day event featuring over 60 cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, receptions, and dinners.
They even bring out the big boys like Mario Batali (you may have seen him once or twice on the Food Network) who will be making another appearance for a private dinner to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
This year's Classic (Sept. 11-13) will feature four distinct beer-focused classes that cover cheese, historic brews of Europe, artisan sour style ales and how to cellar beer.

Wow a private dinner. I wish other stars would do that. Mario would probably roll out the tripe.
