I think that is probably the only festival we don't have out here. Every vegetable and fruit has it's own festival weekend during the summer.

You can literally eat all weekend going from one to the another!

Just read in our local paper that congratulations are in order to Beaver Foods (located right here in beautiful Beaverton, Oregon) on winning EIGHT awards this year at the Napa Valley Mustard Festival.

They won gold medals for their Beaver Wasabi Mustard with Grated Wasabi and Beaver Garlic Dijon.

They are an 80 year old company specializing in gourmet condiments. I love their Horseradish and always have at least two jars on hand.

Over the years they have been awarded 120 medals from this festival. They are the largest producer of non-refrigerated horseradish and specialty mustards in the U.S. If you haven't tried them, look for them the next time you go to the grocery store. You won't be disappointed.

If I ever get back to Wisconsin, I want to check this place out. Mount Horeb Mustard Museum and Mustard Store
