Cool! Knew this show was in the works and now I've got a premiere date. I know who I'll be pulling for - John Besh! Lots of big name chef in this group.

Can Michael Chiarello and John Besh both win?
I would love to see both of them get it.

Nah... got to be Besh. He should have been the one picked for the next Iron Chef.

It would be nice if each of the chefs did a series of cooking shows to follow up, the competition. I really like Chef Besh, Chef Bayless, and Chef Chiarello, oh and Chef Love also. Each of the chefs in this are good in the own rights. I would love to be a judge on this show, sorry you all win and each get your own series to start immediately, showing 16 hours a day and no repeats until further notice. Oh well at least I can dream, but this will be one show I will not miss. I bet this took some work to get all these chefs to take time out for this but than it all goes to charity, what a great concept. I can not wait for it to start.
prepared with passion and served with love !

What makes it tough in these competitions is that there are chefs with very different styles and you can enjoy more than one type chef, just as you enjoy more than one type of food. That's why it's tough for me to choose. Michael is probably my favorite Italian Chef of all time, but I loved eating in New Orleans too which is John Besh's style. I am really more familiar with Michael's overall style and I know his cooking appeals to me because I have followed him for years. But I would love to see more from John Besh after seeing him compete for Iron Chef. Yeah okay ... I'll admit they both are easy to look at too.
I love them both.
