In the Spelling Bee Impossible episode Robert used a rotary slicer to slice a zuccini into wide, long strips that he used in place of lassagna noodles to make a vegetarian lassagna dish. I would like to try this but have been unable to track down the slicer on the Internet. I already have a Japanese spiral slicer that cuts slices from the end of a carrot or zuccini but have haver seen one that slices from the side the way they slice the veneer from a spinning log to create plywood. Anyone have any idea what the device is called and where it is available?
