To those who say his lying didn't help him do his job, did the equipment and ingredients he was given by the sponsors have no effect on his performance? Better equipment, better ingredients, better staff probably equals better end results. (Again, I didn't really watch the show, so he may have been given diddly-squat with which to work. Maybe that was the point.) I'm sure FN didn't care one way or the other, but the sponsors associated with the show probably did not appreciate being connected with him. And wasn't he involved in some failing business deals as well? I imagine some of those would not have come about if not for the show. (I may be waaaaayyy off base here. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

I'll be completely honest. I want him to come back because I liked the show, and I liked watching him on the show. Its not fair to others, and its not consistent with what I would usually say, but thats just how I feel. It was one of my favorite shows on the network and I want it back. There's only so many decent shows worth watching on Food Network, and this was one of them.

I am pretty close to that too. And I was glad when they got rid of JAG, but I didn't like him ... I do like Robert. I guess it's an emotional decision, because I know what he did was wrong.

My guess is a lot of people are like that. Seems like nobody really likes what he did, but many want to see him back mostly because he was enjoyable to watch.

We want more real chefs on FN and Robert is a REAL chef. What he did was nothing major...he has proven himself and his talent. Maybe now he could go work for the Royal Family with all this TV and publicity exposure!

Wouldn't that make a cool show? He could do all the stuff he said he did but didn't. The President and the Queen could eat together and he could cook for them.

But he can't do a cake for Diana.

Saddly, no cake for Dianna and Charles, but maybe soon there will be another Royal Wedding from what I've read. Maybe Robert should put in his application for that!

Martha might just need to buy the whole network and straighten those people out.
