Food Network Chef Speaks Out About Past
Thursday March 27, 2008
"I made a couple of mistakes, and I'll stand by and take the beatings," chef
Robert Irvine, the former host of the Food Network's hit series
Dinner: Impossible, tells
Us Weekly exclusively in its latest issue, on newsstands now.
In February, news broke that Irvine misrepresented certain aspects of his background, including working with the British royal family and being knighted.
"I'm trying to move forward," he says.
Though he lost his show and canceled plans to open two restaurants in Florida, the married star still has his fans.
"I've had thousands of e-mails supporting me, and I am truly grateful," he tells
Us.
