Milton native Katie Lee, the food and lifestyle contributor for "The Early Show" on CBS TV, has come out with a new cookbook, a look at comfort food and occasions. She'll sign books at the Borders bookstore in Huntington at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Any time author and food expert Katie Lee wants a break from New York City living to get back to her West Virginia roots, she need travel no farther than her kitchen.
A batch of her grandmother's biscuits or her great-uncle Larry's favorite prune cake take her home to Milton and a house full of fond memories, many of them focused on family meals.
