Lars "Kuprik" Bäckman of Rättvik, Sweden, is again asserting his claim that he inspired the goofy Swenglish-speaking Swedish Chef character from Jim Henson's "The Muppet Show." He tells ABC News that a horrific cooking-show appearance on a morning talk show some 40 years ago is proof.

This falls under the category with me 'why does it matter'? It would be great if he received some sort of compensation, but just being honored to be a Muppet character, come on...that's a great honor.

So what he is saying he looked like the muppet 40 years ago ? I would not admitt that. He hasn't aged in 40 years ??
