With the days getting cooler, that means only one thing...COMFORT FOOD!

What is your favorite comfort meal for these cool autumn nights?

Hard to pick just one. I went for spaghetti, but mac n cheese was a close runner up.

That's why I selected 'all of the above'. All the foods this time of year are so comforting. I love how they make the house smell.

You know I cleaned our outdoor grill back in May and we never used it once this year! That's so not like me, but the indoor grill so handy, and easy to clean. I'll probably get the desire to use it in the middle of winter! At least it is clean and ready to use.

The only other one I'm a big fan of is pot roast. This is making me hungry though.

I was so hungry that I popped a Lean Cuisine in the microwave. Not quite the same as homemade comfort food, but it was pretty good and only 240 calories! Can't beat that.

Yesterday I wanted to feel happy so I got a Happy Meal. I had the 4 chicken nuggets (190 calories, 400 sodium), gave away the fries and the drink, but the toy was mine.

Every once in a while, you just have to do it! What was the prize?

When I was a kid, we didn't have Happy Meals, but did have cool prizes in the Cracker Jack boxes. They were actually fun toys. Think now they just put in washable tatoos or sports cards.

Its a barbie thing, its a notebook, but it looks like a purse. I thought it was super duper cute. I put it in my real purse.

I had to vote for "all of the above" for several of them is on my list. But, I didn't see one of my all time comfort foods on the list - meatloaf! Other top favs of mine are: country-style steak, shrimp and grits and beef stew. And on the sweet side it's got to be pound cake.
