    Figs

Do any of you cook with figs. It's not something I am familiar with. I have a pork tenderloin recipe that calls for dried figs and I found some nice ones imported from Greece in the produce section. Any tips you can give me?

I just bought some fresh whole figs last week, but I made jam with them. I'm not sure what I would do with dried figs other than rehydrate them in some type of liquor.

I love dried figs! Especially the Greek figs. I've never cooked with them, just eat them as is.

I think it was on one of the first episodes of Hells Kitchen this year that they guy who won it made a sauce from figs over something and Ramsay loved it, said the sauce was excellent, but for never did see how he made the sauce wonder if there was a recipe ever placed on it somewhere? now I am going tp have to go do some research see if I can find it.

No advice here. I have a fig tree growing outside my bedroom. It has figs on it right now. But I never eat them! The squirrels get 'em.

Fresh figs are delicious! Go out there and pick a few....the squirrels know a good thing when they taste it.
