One of my chef idols, Alton Brown, talks frequently about the importance of “multi-tasking” when it comes to the things you buy for your kitchen. In other words, if you’re buying something for your kitchen that has but one use, it’s likely a waste of money. There are, of course, exceptions.

I always use Parchment. I hate to run out so I keep it stocked.

I use parchment paper a lot too. Instead of buying those rolls at the grocery store I like to order the package of pre-cut half-sheet pan size from Surfus. It comes flat and makes it very handy when baking cookies... just grab a sheet and get to baking.
