Whole Wheat Pasta
Have any of you tried the various brands of whole wheat pasta. I tried one when it first started to become popular and I didn't like the texture. Have any of you tried brands that you like?

I can't say that I love the stuff, haven't found one that I like enough to switch to.

Have to agree the texture is not very good. The egg-type noodles are pretty good, but don't care for the spaghetti.

That's all we eat. I would have to look on the brand, I just know what the box looks like.

I don't care for the texture, and they usually have too much flavor for delicate sauces.
I would like to find a good one though.

Yea We tried a few kinds, didn't like the texture, and on one of them i made a garlic olive oil sauce with a little Parmesan, and the pasta completely over powered the sauce!...and that's not Good Eats!

The Ronzoni egg-less noodles are really good. Used them with braised sirloin tips with red wine sauce and sauteed mushrooms and you could tell they were whole wheat. Now, eat one without anything on it and, yes, there is a difference.

I tried Ronzoni whole wheat pasta from time to time.
Their eggless noodles, they can keep it!
Incidently;
Did anyone know that when Luther Vandrose was born, his middle name given to him at the time was Ronzoni? It was because his mom would eat a lot of Ronzoni pasta when she was carrying him.
