As info, here is a great site for information on storing tomatoes:

www.whatscookingamerica.net

I keep mine on the kitchen counter, never in the fridge, but that is my preference.

Now I know why they keep tasting like they are flat, I always thought it was just poor quality tomatoes. Mine go on the counter from now on. Maybe I can get some good tasting tomatoe after more then one day.

There's some chemical reaction that happens to them when they hit a certain cooler temp. I remember Alton saying that in the tomato episode. I've never liked tomatoes stored in the fridge. I remember telling my mom they tasted better warm. I didn't know why... until I saw that episode

My 10
1. butter (unsalted and salted)
2. milk
3. various cheese
4. celery
5. carrots
6. traditional condiments
7. some type of jelly (right now seedless blackberry)
8. yogurt
9. lemonade (right now that's been in there constantly, I make a new batch every few days)
10. pickles
