I prefer white pepper. Somewhere I heard that black pepper is not good for the prostate. Even if that's not true, white pepper is just as good. Like sea salt however, it takes a little adjustment.

It was hard to find at first. Friends in Indonesia sent us some then I started finding it all over.

If the claims about prostate problems are true then it's worth it...but sometimes I like the black color in the food...so I throw caution to the wind and go for the black!

A lot of people put it in things that they don't want the black specks to show, like potato soup.

I have Black, white, green and pink peppercorns. Although the pink technically isn't "pepper" that's how they sell it.

I NEVER buy pre ground anymore. And if you wish to continue to do so you probably shouldn't ask me why.
