Oh, for the love of sweet corn

A favourite way of cooking fresh corn is grilling the cobs on the barbecue with the husk still on. Simply let the husk blacken for eight to 10 minutes, ...
Ok, I have been stubborn. Have tons of sweetcorn in the garden but it's just not ready yet! I've been stubborn about stopping at road-side market and buying any. What's with that?? I'm stopping today...There is room for all God's creatures....right next to the mash potatoes.
You must learn to love to learn.

The sweet corn this year has been the best I've tasted in years! Don't know why, but it is so much more flavorful.

My dad has a buddy that gave him some fresh corn from his garden and he gave us some. Best corn we have had yet this summer.

I will have to go the farmers market up the road on Friday...and then go and get some shrimp...still craving it from the earlier talk this week.

Love fresh sweet corn... could set down and make a meal off of it! The farm market across the creek from me has a mixed (yellow and white) sweet corn that's so sweet you can just eat it without cooking. One of my favorite ways to do corn on the grill is grill with husk off and brush with a 50/50 mix of butter and Dijon mustard while grilling.

The yellow/white kernel corn is called "Sugar Dot" out here. Not sure if it is the same that you are purchasing, but isn't it the best??!!

Yes, it's the best! Around here I've heard it called bicorn and calico corn.
