I don't think I have ever eaten those fresh. I have got them pickled though to put on Pizza. Are you going to put this one on a pizza?

I'm really not sure whats going to happen to it. Dad seemed interested in maybe putting it into an omlet.

The other pepper plants I bought have tons of peppers on them (though they aren't ready to be picked yet) and I have no idea what I'm going to do with them.

My biggest pepper had something eat a hole into it and lay some nasty looking eggs.

Hey I got one of those too, though by accident. Hope I get a pumpkin!

We have some chestnut sized ones on there right now. I am not sure if they will make it. 2 got to be about that size then shriveled up and died. I think we might be too late in the year now. Aren't they supposed to be further along by now?

Lots of my plants are done. Really early this year. Pulled out a tomato plant and the lemon cucumbers...all the fruit was picked last week. Have three tomato plants left..one yellow pear and two cherry. Boy, are they delicious this year.

Went to the farm this weekend and picked up corn and tomatoes. The corn was especially good. Then, I went to the Swan Island Dahlia gardens and picked up bright red dahlias for the table. Also bought my dear friend a bouquet of yellow. The bouquets are HUGE only cost $5.00 each..a real deal.

Think the apple orchards opened last week so that is on my list for this week. Love those Honey Crisp!

I like going to our farmers market. We can usually get some nice things there. I bet it's more fun to go to a farm though. I have some fresh corn for dinner tonight.

Love, love, love, this time of year...farms are bursting with fresh produce. Soon the Potato Festival will be here and then all the Harvest Fests from wine to squash. Tomorrow a group of us are going to pick fresh peaches...then apples!

Scrumptious!
